Character design contest.Hey, viewers. I got a job for you. But first, let me talk about my new project. I'm working on a romantic creepy pasta (scary yet steamy) trilogy. And all the characters are made up…..
But that's the problem. I got a design for everyone else but the main character. That's where you guys come in. I am holding a contest on who can make the best character design. It's simple. Draw a character, upload it, and send me a link to it in the comments.
But there are a few rules you need to follow.
1. Absolutely NO furries, "already thought of" mythical creators, hipster things, or anime genre characters. It will not match the plot or concept and it will not fit the creepy pasta setting.
2. Do not give me a personality description with the artwork. The personality and character origin is already thought of.
3. You can enter in as much designs as you want.
4. There is no deadline. Contest ends when there are more than entries. I will still except entries afterwords, but only for side characters.

Tekken 2 Art Tribute

wow, 81 claims already and 27 entries are already submitted (26.01.2013)
The Tekken I Art Tribute is done, published, Harada himself saw and liked it and since it was published last weekend here http://fanart.game-art-hq.com/9860/the-tekken-art-tribute-chapter-1-tekken-the-iron-fist-tournament around 3000 visitors saw it.
Tekken I however is just the first chapter of one of the most successful fighting game series ever and so its just natural that this Project continues with Tekken 2.

Contest: RESULTSBefore I announce the winners, there are a few things =IdoodleChibis and I would like to say. Firstly a huge thank you for every singly entry. You all worked hard on your pictures and still makes me smile to look at them. We saw Nikka and Milo running through forests, meeting magical fairy girls, visiting the aquarium, sailing on rainbow rivers, playing in sweet shops, playing with their pets, trapped in blob land, or just enjoying their time together in rainbow land. I love the attention to detail you all took, including carrots, glasses, cats, and many more.

I found this artist just there right now. Seriously, just before I started writing this and I was just blown right back by the quality and beauty of their works. I had been planning to give away the Artist Mention to someone else, but I guess that'll have to wait til the next volume. I am ~blown away~! Their use of painting strokes is really pretty. =3

I love the use of anti-aliasing in that pixel piece. Anti-aliasing is quite important in making pixel art look smooth, and their use of anti-aliasing is perfect. I like the all-black outlines, too - it doesn't work for every piece of pixel art, but the artist here makes it work.

INTRODUCTION

Hello! After some deliberation I've decided it is time to hold my first contest. It's going to be based on my story and original characters. The theme is spring. You are free to interpret this time in any way you choose.
My story is set in a contemporary Dublin, but in an alternative timeline where magic is possible. Visually, this means the world has been influenced by different historical periods as the supernatural world seems somewhat more archaic than its technological counterpart. You'll also see this in the character's wardrobes that fluctuate from very modern to Victorian-esque.

At a glance, the cover is screaming with mouth-watering fantasy art from one of my idols - Chester Ocampo (a.k.a. *chesterocampo), then the bottom header reads - Budjette Tan, Kajo Baldisimo, Andrew Drilon and more...
Budjette and Kajo, to those who don't know, are the crazy masterminds behind the mind-blowing graphic series TRESE. If you have been ignoring these on the bookstands, do yourself a favor and buy ALL four books, for heaven's sake! Incidentally, Budjette is half of the editorial duo behind Kwentillon. The other one is Paolo Chikiamco.
